5. OVERVIEW REPORT HIGHLIGHTS

OVERVIEW REPORT PROVIDING DETAILED DESCRIPTIONS - The Overview Report is normally 5-7 pages in length printed.  It contains the Descriptive "TEXT" customized for the Individual taking the Hire Success Personality Profile.  

Where some tests only provide the test data and expect the Interviewer to know how to interpret the data or look it up in a System Manual, Hire Success Interprets and CUSTOMIZES the Descriptive information for the Individual.  The Applicant's Name is used throughout the document.  The proper Gender references are made in the text.  Each Overview Report reads like a booklet created especially for the unique combination of Personality Types, Characteristics and Traits for this individual.

The following is a General overview of the "A" personality. Its purpose is to provide you with a better understanding of this personality type. NOTE: It is a General Description only to provide contrast for the personality characteristics below that describe the specifics of his personality. Recognizing that although many people share the same personality type, there are many traits, and degrees of traits, that make them different from each other. You will find some of these differences defined in more detail in the Trait section of this report.

 KEY INFORMATION READILY AVAILABLE IN LEFT COLUMN - Throughout this report Personality and Trait Data is printed in the left column of the document to make it easy for the Interviewer to find the specific information he or she is looking for related to that data and to assure that the data found on the Summary Report is readily visible to assure the text descriptions are easily related to the Report Data.  See the example above where the Applicant's Primary Personality and Strength of that Personality are easily identifiable from the paragraphs of text found in the rest of the document.

 FIRST SECTION - PRIMARY PERSONALITY - The first section of the Overview Report is general descriptive text describing the PRIMARY PERSONALITY TYPE.  It is provided so the Interviewer does not have to keep referring to a Manual, or other documentation, to remember the details of a particular Personality Type.  The information is very general and helps to set the stage so the Interviewer will easily have a snapshot of what is "typical" of this personality type (not necessarily specifics of this individual) in order to have a basis to contrast more specific information that may be revealed in the rest of the document.

This is almost like reading a paragraph or two from a book telling you what you might expect from someone with this Personality Type.  We believe this is important because, as an employer, you want to be able to easily spot the UNIQUE characteristics about this individual, not just lump them into larger, non-descript categories.

 SECOND SECTION - INFLUENCES OF OTHER PERSONALITY TYPES - Immediately following the general description, the Report begins to speak more of some of the more unique aspects you might look for in this Individual.  Although still general in nature, the description takes into consideration the influence of the Secondary Personality, and sometimes other Types, if the STRENGTH of the Secondary type is close to the Primary.  This helps the Interviewer build a more specific background model in their mind as to what they might expect from this unique Individual who may have strong or subtle influences of another personality Type.

 THIRD SECTION - INDIVIDUAL PERSONALITY TRAIT INFORMATION - The final section, and certainly the largest part of the Overview Report, is the SPECIFIC Descriptive Text covering each of the 20 Trait Scales.  These speak specifically to the Traits of this unique individual.  Because the Traits are determined INDEPENDENTLY of the Personality Evaluation, it is possible, and even common, to find some Trait information that differs from the more "General" Personality Descriptions found in the first two sections.  

Hire Success us unique in how it strives to uncover the UNIQUENESS of the Individual by making NO ASSUMPTIONS regarding their Personality Traits and using the General Personality Descriptions as background or contrast for highlighting these Traits.  Most often, the Traits are what one might expect for the person's personality, but Hire Success can help uncover Special Traits that may not have been found on other tests. 

For example, "A" personality types typically delegate details to others.  This doesn't mean there aren't SOME "A" personalities who have trained themselves to be very detail oriented.  Rather than relying on "traditional expectations" based on the Primary Personality, Hire Success helps you identify the Uniqueness of the individual so you can have the most accurate information available when making a hiring or career enhancement decision.
